New Trends in Fertility Treatment Abroad

New Trends in Fertility Treatment AbroadCommon procedures for treating infertility in the past have included artificial insemination, in Vitro fertilization, embryo transfer and reproductive assistance and sperm extraction techniques. Additional options and choices for parents include newer technologies, several of which include forms of assisted reproduction, known as ART, including IVF (in Vitro fertilization) and PGD (pre-implantation genetic diagnosis), assisted zona hatching (AZH) and autologous endometrial coculture (AEC) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).

Fertility Tourism
Widespread research and the development of a variety of treatments for infertile couples have encouraged across-border travel for affordable and effective fertility treatments, especially for Americans. Intrauterine insemination in the U.S. may cost between $300 an $800 per attempt, while in Vitro fertilization techniques average $8,000 and $12,000 per attempt, in addition to medications to induce ovulation, which may cost over $2,000.

Infertility treatment abroad has grown in popularity, affordability and effectiveness in recent years, with facilities throughout Europe, South America and Southeast Asia offering a variety of infertility treatments to couples.

Argentina, South America is known for cutting edge technologies in fertility treatments, as is India. Newcomers to medical tourism in the fertility field, though through no lack of experience or credentials include facilities in Turkey and Jordan. Assisted reproduction fertility treatment facilities in Mexico have also grown clientele lists.

For example, Jinemed Hospital, located in Istanbul, Turkey, provides a variety of IVF, ICSI, PGD, IVM and ovarian cortex freezing treatments and technologies, with nearly two decades of experience in the field. Fertility Argentina, also known as CEGYR, located in Buenos Aires, also offers certified and accredited care in ART (assisted reproduction technology).

Effective and Affordable Care
Couples traveling to foreign destinations for fertility treatments may save between 25% and 75% of costs of procedures in the United States and Britain. Couples from around the world, including the U.S., South America, Western Europe and Africa are traveling abroad for fertility treatments.

The number of Americans alone expected to travel abroad for fertility treatments and other aspects of health care is expected to double in 2010 and coming years. In the United States, many insurance companies only cover infertility diagnosis, but not treatments.

Couples traveling to central European, African, or Asian and South American destinations often pay less than half the cost of the procedure in the U.S. or Britain, with costs also including air fare, accommodations, laboratory tests, and full staff support.

According to the National Institutes of Health, the medical tourism industry is expected to grow financially to upwards of $40 billion in 2010, with more than six million Americans seeking specialized medical care and infertility treatments abroad, growing medical tourism revenue upwards of $4.4 billion by 2012.

Internet Resources, such as PlacidWay, an International Medical tourism portal based in Denver, Colorado, seeks to offer reliable, up to date, and ample resources for couples seeking certified and accredited fertility clinic facilities around the globe.

Couples are urged to research affordable and high quality and effective care before giving up on their goal of conceiving, considering the possibility of traveling abroad to make their dreams a reality. Medical fertility treatments and clinics abroad are available, affordable, effective, and obtainable for couples around the globe struggling with infertility.

Myrtle Beach Foreclosure Properties

Myrtle Beach Foreclosure PropertiesThe real estate market is in crisis, there is no denying it. A disastrous coupling of mortgage companies making bad loans and people who couldn't repay them has resulted in an excess of homes and condominiums sitting empty all over the country. One place that is definitely no exception is Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

What you probably think of when you think of Myrtle Beach is of course, the beach, the ocean, and the wonderful vacations that thousands of people enjoy there every year. Another thing you must now consider is the property available there. The mortgage crisis has resulted in dozens of beautiful condos sitting empty all over Myrtle Beach. Now is the time to buy.

If you are considering an investment property, there is no better place to consider than Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach has ever been popular as a place to vacation and live and shows no signs of slowing down. Right now, you can swoop in and scoop up a property that a few years ago you may not have been able to consider. Prices on these condos have dropped as much as 50% in some areas, yet many investors are still a bit "gun shy" when it comes to purchasing property. Now is your chance.

The market will pick up again, it is inevitable. Most economists agree that the market is cyclical and that things will return to how they were before the "mortgage boom." Whenever that happens, be it next month or next year, you can be assured that your return on investment, or ROI, will be considerable should you invest in a Myrtle Beach foreclosure property. All you really need to do is maintain the property until then and you can then sell it for a major profit.

Even if you aren't looking for an investment property, Myrtle Beach condos make for great retirement locations. Many retirees are looking for a nice, warm place to retire where they and their spouse can make the most of their time together. Maybe you've vacationed there in the past and thought "What must it be like to live here?" Well, now you can affordably find out. Myrtle Beach is one of the most beautiful places in the world to live, why not take advantage of the current low prices and find out for yourself? Maybe you're simply searching for a great summer home. Once again, you can do no better than a condo at Myrtle Beach.

If you've ever considered purchasing an investment property, now is a time like no other to get involved. Myrtle Beach condos in particular are a virtually untapped resource that is just sitting there, waiting for the perfect investor to come by and make a huge profit. When the market picks back up again, the ROI on any Myrtle Beach foreclosure property is sure to be tremendous. Even if you are simply looking for a place to live or a summer property, Myrtle Beach condos are some of the best deals you will ever find.

I Love Touring Italy - Eastern Liguria

I Love Touring Italy - Eastern LiguriaIf you are looking for a European tourist destination, consider the Liguria region of northern Italy, commonly known as the Italian Riviera. This thin strip of land lies on the Ligurian Sea, not far from Monaco and the French Riviera. While Liguria is by no means undiscovered, its crowds are much smaller than those next door. There are many little towns or villages, and one international port city almost smack dab in the center of the coast. This article explores Liguria east of Genoa, or as the locals call it, Riviera di Levante (The Riviera of the Rising Sun.) Be sure to read the other articles in this series: western Liguria, Genoa, and Cinque Terre, five little seaside villages that just might steal your heart.

We start our tour just east of Genoa at the seaside town of Nervi. We continue southeast down the coast to the Portofino Promontory and the towns of Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino. Then it's back to the main coast and several destinations: Rapallo, Moneglia, La Spezia, and finally Lerici.

The little town of Nervi near Genoa has been a resort for well over one hundred years. Swimming there is not recommended because of Genoa's pollution. You may want to visit in July when Nervi hosts the International Ballet Festival. Nervi's highlight is its mile-long (1.5 kilometer) Passeggiata (Promenade) Anita Garibaldi named for the wife and comrade-in-arms of Italian revolutionary Giuseppe Garibaldi, founder of the modern Italian state. I'll tell you a bit more about this great promenade, but first let's talk about Madame Garibaldi. She was born in pre-independence Brazil to a poor family and raised by a single mother. She married at age 14. It is said that when Garibaldi first laid eyes on her he could only whisper, "You must be mine." And she was. She taught the sailor Guiseppe about the gaucho culture of her homeland and fought by his side in many battles. The couple had four children and she died where carrying their fifth child several years before the independence of Italy. In 1860, when Garibaldi rode his horse to greet Victor Emanuel II as King of a United Italy, he wore Anita's striped scarf over his gray South American poncho.

The rock hewn mile-long (1.5 kilometer) Passeggiata (Promenade) Anita Garibaldi is full of palm and orange trees in its 300 acre (120 hectare) park. Make sure to see the Parco Villa Grimaldi with its magnificent collection of roses. And don't forget Anita Garibaldi.

Santa Margherita Ligure, population about ten thousand, is an old, upscale resort town. There's a Sixteenth Century castle, and a few churches and villas to visit. If you have the money you can stay in a top of the line hotel, costing a lot less than in neighboring Portofino, which is such a famous tourist attraction that it has been recreated, so to speak, in Japan and at the Portofino Bay Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Portofino, population about five hundred, not counting the very numerous tourists is considered one the most beautiful Mediterranean ports. Be sure to see the Castello di San Giorgio (Saint George Castle) old enough to be restored in the Sixteenth Century, with its lovely gardens, views and exhibit showing famous visitors including Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe, and Prince Rainier at play. When you have seen enough of these pictures walk out to the lighthouse and view Portofino's villas from afar. Stop in for a coffee and watch the fishing boats and ferries go by. Then walk or ferry to the Tenth-Eleventh Century Abbazia di San Fruttuoso now a conservation site that occasionally has exhibits.

Portofino and its surroundings are safeguarded by the Parco Naturale Regionale di Portofino ( Regional Natural Park of Portofino) and by the Area Marina Protetta di Portofino (Protected Marine Area of Portofino). Visit them both to enjoy the local flora and fauna on land and on sea.

Rapallo, population about thirty thousand, was initially settled in the Eighth Century B.C. perhaps by the Greeks and perhaps by the Etruscans. During World War I it hosted an important conference and later was the site of two peace treaties including the Russian-German Treaty of Rapallo in 1922. We all know how well that worked out. Rapallo was once a major resort area but has not kept up with the times. Be sure to visit the Eleventh Century Cathedral of Santi Gervasio e Protasio with a great bell tower and interesting paintings. The Church of Santo Stefano, the first parish church in Rapallo, is the oldest building in town. It was built before the Eleventh Century. Other churches include the Church of San Francesco, the Sixteenth Century Church of St. Francis of Assisi, the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Century Sanctuary of Nostra Signora di Montallegro (Our Lady of Montallegro), and the Thirteenth Century Monastery of Valle Christi, abandoned for more than four centuries due to pirates. Visit the local castles that were built to defend against pirates. For a different view of life visit the Museo del Pizzo a Tombolo (Bobbin Lace Museum of Rapallo).

Moneglia, population about twenty-seven hundred, is a quiet resort town that is less expensive than its better-known neighbors. It hosts the Niccolo Paganini International Guitar Competition. Moneglia is linked to the outside world by a long series of old tunnels. With a little bad luck you can easily be stopped for a quarter hour before the light turns green. Imagine if it were more popular.

You may decide to bypass La Spezia, population ninety-five thousand, because of its size. You shouldn't. For example, its Thirteenth Century Abbey Church of Santa Maria Assunta (Our Lady of the Assumption) has quite a collection of artwork, often originating in other churches demolished over the years. La Spezia is home to at least eight museums ranging from the Museo Tecnico Navale (Technical Naval Museum) to the Centro Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, often known by its Italian acronym CAMeC. When you think you're done museum hopping be sure to visit the recently restored Castello di San Giorgio (Saint George Castle) with its Museo del Castello that houses Roman and pre-Roman artifacts.

Lerici, population about eleven thousand, marks the end of our Riviera di Levante tour. It also marked the end of the English poet Shelley who drowned in the Bay of Spezia while returning to his beloved Lerici. He actually lived in the nearby village of San Terenzo. The Golfo di Lerici was renamed Golfo dei Poeti in honor of Shelley and his friend and fellow poet, Lord Byron. Make sure to see the Thirteenth Century Castello di Lerici (Lerici Castle) that commanded the bay for centuries and now hosts a paleontology museum. What about food? Liguria has quite a seacoast and you won't have to look very far to find a seafood restaurant. One favorite is anchovies, eaten as antipasto or as a main dish. Popular fish include Swordfish, Tuna, Sardines, and Sea Bass.

Let's suggest a sample menu, one of many. Start with Zuppa di Pesce (Fish Soup). Then try Pescato del Giorne a la Mode Ligure (Catch of the day, Liguria style - with Potatoes, Olives, and Pine Nuts.) For dessert indulge yourself with Canestrelli, literally little boxes (Doughnuts with Confectioners Sugar.) Be sure to increase your dining pleasure by including local wines with your meal.

We'll conclude with a quick look at Liguria wine. Liguria doesn't have a lot of room for wine grapes. It ranks 19th among the 20 Italian regions for the acreage devoted to wine grapes and for total annual wine production. About 34% of its wine is red or rose, leaving 66% white. The region produces eight DOC wines. DOC stands for Denominazione di Origine Controllata, which may be translated as Denomination of Controlled Origin, presumably a high-quality wine. About 14% of Ligurian wine carries the DOC designation.

There are three DOC wines in the Riviera di Levante region, not counting Cinque Terre to be discussed in a separate article. The Golfo del Tigullio DOC is produced near Portofino from a wide variety of local grapes in a wide variety of styles. The dry Colli di Luni DOC is produced both in Liguria near La Spezia and in neighboring Tuscany in several styles from the white Vermentino grape, the red Sangiovese grape, and several local grapes. The Colline di Levanto DOC is a dry white or red wine produced from the white Vermentino grape, the red Sangiovese grape, and several local grapes. Liguria exports very little wine to North America so you may have to go there to taste the wines. To tell you the truth, there are many better reasons for visiting this lovely area.

I Love Italian Wine and Food - Northern Veneto

I Love Italian Wine and Food - Northern VenetoIf you are looking for a European tourist destination, consider the Veneto region of northern Italy on the Gulf of Venice. Venice is of course its best-known city and one of the most popular tourist destinations on earth. But the Veneto region has a lot more to offer. You'll find many, many excellent tourist attractions and you won't have to fight huge crowds. With a little luck you'll avoid tourist traps and come back home feeling that you have truly visited Italy. This article examines tourist attractions in northern Veneto. Be sure to read our companion articles on southern Veneto, on that Shakespearean city of Verona, and on the university city of Padua.

We start our tour of northern Veneto in Marostica, northeast of Vicenza and northwest of Venice. Then we head basically east, first to Bassano del Grappa, on to Asolo, and finally southeast to Treviso.

Marostica, population about thirteen thousand, is known for two castles: the Castello Inferiore (Lower Castle) a rather unique setting for Town Council meetings and the Castello Superiore (Upper Castle) up the hill. But on the second weekend of September in even years such as 2008 these attractions take a back seat to the Partita a Scacchi (Chess Game) with human players dressed in medieval costumes. This practice first started in 1454. It seems that two local noblemen Renaldo D. and Vieri da V. fell in love with the beautiful Lionora P., the daughter of the Lord of Marostica. They were set to fight a duel for the hand of that fair lady. The future father in law, good for him, said no dueling in these parts; if you want to win my daughter you must first win a chess game to be played in the square near the lower castle. The winner will marry Lionora and the loser will marry her younger sister, Oldrada. The whole town showed up to watch the match. History does not record whether Lionora was rooting for the eventual winner or not. The not quite instant replay lasts from Friday night to Sunday and the moves are announced in the local dialect. Marostica is also famous for its cherries and holds a cherry festival every May and June.

Bassano del Grappa, population about forty thousand, was founded as a Roman agricultural estate more than two thousand years ago. It's a pretty town with old houses and squares at the base of Mt. Grappa. This mountain provided cover to Italian partisans during World War II. In 1946 the Prime Minister of Italy awarded the city a gold medal for its military valor. This is commemorated every September.

The city boasts several unusual museums. The Poli Grappa Museum presents the ins and outs of Grappa, an internationally known distilled liquor. Tastings are free but you had better remember grappa is a lot stronger than wine. The Museo della Cermica's (Ceramics Museum) interesting collection includes many pieces from the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Century. You can purchase local ceramics in many shops in the area. The Museo degli Alpini (Alpine Museum) honors Italian Alpine Troops. The Town Museum displays archaeological remains, several paintings by well-known historical local artists, and drawings by Albrecht Drer and Rembrandt.

Bassano del Grappa is home to several historic churches including the Eleventh Century Duomo (Cathedral) renovated several hundred years later, the Thirteenth Century Church of San Donato said to be visited by both St Francis of Assisi and St Anthony of Padua, the Twelfth Century Church of St. Francis, and the Fourteenth Century Church of St. John the Baptist restored in the Eighteenth Century.

The city's best-known monument is the Ponte degli Alpini (Alpine Bridge) over the Brenta River. This lovely bridge was designed in the Sixteenth Century by the architect Andrea Palladio to replace one constructed in the Thirteenth Century. You may know that Palladio was said to be the most influential person in the history of Western architecture. Read more about him and his work in the companion article I Love Touring Italy - Southern Veneto. Palladio's bridge was destroyed in 1748 and rebuilt three years later. What you see today was reconstructed after World War II from his own design.

Asolo, population about seventy five hundred, is known as "The Pearl of the Province of Treviso", and as "The City of a Hundred Horizons". Asolo is associated with the Italian verb "Asolare" meaning to pass time in a delightful but meaningless way. The famous British poet Robert Browning surely agreed with delightful, but not with meaningless; here in the Nineteenth Century he wrote Asolando, his last volume of poetry. Other famous writers including Elizabeth Barret Browning, Ernest Hemingway, and Henry James visited or lived this town.

Atop the town sits a converted monastery that now houses a university: CIMBA (The International Consortium for Management and Business Analysis). Students from all over the world live, work, and study in Asolo while earning their MBA. CIMBA has a sister campus for undergraduates in Paderno.

Treviso, population about eighty thousand, has had a long and bloody history. It was close to the site of an important battle in World War I and the site of a concentration camp in World War II. During that war the medieval city was heavily damaged with quite a loss of life. In spite of the massive destruction its center is still something to see. Treviso is home to the famous designer Benetton and has enough canals to merit the nickname "Little Venice".

Start your visit at the Piazza dei Signori (Square of the Gentlemen), the center of the medieval town, with several buildings of interest including the Twelfth Century Palazzo dei Trecento (Town Hall). Close by you'll find the Pescheria (Fish Market) on an island in the canal.

Among the churches to see is the Late Romanesque-Early Gothic Twelfth Century Church of San Francesco (Saint Francis), used by Napoleonic troops as a stable. It contains several paintings and frescoes of interest and the tombs of Pietro Alighieri, son of Dante, and Francesca Petrarca, daughter of the poet Francesco. The Church of San Nicol is a mixture of Thirteenth Century Venetian Romanesque and French Gothic elements. It is also loaded with historic frescoes. The Duomo di San Pietro (Saint Peter's Cathedral) was built in the Fifteenth and Sixteenth Centuries on the site of a Romanesque church. Among its artwork is Titian's The Annunciation.

What about food? Treviso is known for many specialties including various pasta and rice dishes with wild herbs and vegetables, such as risotto with wild asparagus (bruscandoi). When gourmets think of Treviso it's often for the local radicchio, perhaps served in risotto. Other popular local dishes include bigoli, thick homemade spaghetti served with duck or sausage sauce, risi e bisi (rice with peas), and pasta e fagioli (pasta with beans). Meat and cold cuts are often served with peverada, a strong sauce made with liver and spices. Like several other areas, Treviso claims the famous Italian dessert, tiramisu.

Let's suggest a sample menu, one of many. Start with Sopa Coada (Pigeon and Bread Soup). Then try Ravioli ai Porcini e Ricotta Affumicata (Ravioli with Porcini Mushrooms and Smoked Ricotta Cheese). For dessert indulge yourself with Focaccia alla Ceccobeppe (Flat Bread with Dried Fruit). Be sure to increase your dining pleasure by including local wines with your meal.

We'll conclude with a quick look at Veneto wine. Veneto ranks 3rd among the 20 Italian regions both for the area planted in grape vines and for its total annual wine production. About 45% of Veneto wine is red or rose, leaving 55% for white. The region produces 24 DOC wines and 3 DOCG wines, Recioto di Soave, Soave Superiore, and Bardolino Superiore. DOC stands for Denominazione di Origine Controllata, which may be translated as Denomination of Controlled Origin, presumably a high-quality wine The G in DOCG stands for Garantita, but there is in fact no guarantee that such wines are truly superior. Almost 30% of Venetian wine carries the DOC or DOCG designation.

Montello e Colli Asolani DOC is produced on the right bank of the Piave River north of Treviso. There are many styles made from a variety of local and international grapes. The best known is Prosecco, made from the white Prosecco grape with up to 15% of other white grapes, mostly local, but including Chardonnay. While Prosecco wine may be still or fizzy, it is usually sparkling. And it is usually not very special.

How to Write Wedding Invitations

How to Write Wedding InvitationsOrder invitations only when you have confirmation from your wedding and reception sites. Note the time of the reception on the receptions cards in the event of an extended lag in time between the wedding and reception beyond the normal transit time needed between sites.

A broad range of prices is available among the different styles of invitations, but the price of comparable invitations varies little from store to store. Most stores require a 50% deposit when ordering, with the balance to be paid at delivery.

It is wise to order about 5 percent more invitations than needed to cover any mistakes or forgotten people.

At the time you order the invitations, have the correct form for the names of the persons giving the wedding, the full names of the bride and groom, and the time, date, and location of the ceremony. Do you want a general idea of how to write wedding invitations? Look below.

If the wedding is given by your mother and father:

Mr. and Mrs. James T. Smith
request the honor of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter
Mary Sue
to
Robert John Brown
(etc.)

If the wedding is given by you and the groom:

Mary Sue Smith
and Robert John Brown
request the honor of your presence
at their marriage
(etc.)

If the wedding is given by your mother, and your father is deceased,

Mrs. James T. Smith
requests the honor of your presence
at the marriage of her daughter
Mary Sue
(etc.)

If your mother has remarried, use her present husbands name:

Mr and Mrs. John C. Howard
request the honor of your presence
at the marriage of her daughter
Mary Sue Smith
(etc.)

If the wedding is given by your mother, and your parents are divorced, use your mothers maiden name plus your fathers last name:

Mrs. Anne Miller Smith
requests the honor of your presence
at the marriage of her daughter
Mary Sue
(etc.)

If the wedding is given by your father, and either your parents are divorced or your mother is deceased:

Mr. James T. Smith
requests the honor of your presence
at the marriage of his daughter
Mary Sue
(etc.)

If your father has remarried:

Mr. and Mrs. James T. Smith
request the honor of your presence
at the marriage of his daughter
Mary Sue
(etc.)

If the wedding is given by your divorced parents, and each has remarried,

Mr. and Mrs. James T. Smith
and
Mr. and Mrs. Scott .M. Jones
request the honor of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter
Mary Sue Smith
(etc.)

How to Write Wedding Invites

When deciding how to write your wedding invites, and what style of wording to use, remember that... the honor of your presence... usually refers to a religious or formal service and.... the pleasure of your company... usually refers to a civil or casual service. Consultants at specialty shops are available to help you with the wording.

The only difference in wording between military and civilian weddings is in the use of service titles. These titles are used in the following manner:

- army, marine corps: rank of captain or higher
- navy: rank of commodore or higher

Their rank precedes their name, and the service designation follows on the next line under their name:

Captain Robert John Brown
United States Army

For officers whose ranks are below those listed above, list their name on a single line, with the line below showing their rank and service designation:

Robert John Brown
Lieutenant, United States Navy

For military personnel without rank, list their name on a single line, with the line below showing their service designation:

Robert John Brown
United States Marine Corps

A bride in the military may omit using her own rank and service designation on the invitations unless she plans to be married in her uniform.

The addressing should be handwritten. Traditionally it is done in black ink, but the same color as the printing may also be used.

The invitations will come with two sets of envelopes.

When addressing outer envelopes:
- All formal titles such as doctor, captain, and reverend are written out.
- Semi-formal titles such as Ms., Mr., and Mrs. are abbreviated.
- Avenue, street, road, etc., are written out, as are the city and state.

The wording on the inner envelope should include the titles and the last names only of the invited adults. If you wish to invite children under the age of eighteen, write their first names on a line below their parents on the inner envelope. Older children in the family should receive their own invitations. The phrase... and family... instead of the childrens name should never be used.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson
John, Scott, Sarah, and Sue

Once the invitations are addressed, place all the enclosures in the envelopes in this manner:

- Place the reception card inside the invitation.
- Put the response card in its envelope, and place inside invitation
- Place map, if used, inside invitation
- Place tissue over printing on invitation to prevent smudging
- Tuck the invitation, folded edge down, into the inner envelope.
- Place the inner envelope into the outer envelope so the writing on the inner envelope faces flap.

When purchasing stamps for mailing, have the invitation, including all enclosures, weighted to determine the correct postage.

Mail all the invitations at the same time, using first-class stamps.

A stamp must be provided on the return envelope if response cards are used.

The following example of response card wording eliminates confusion for your guests and increases the likelihood that they will return the cards on time.

The favor of a reply
is requested before
June first.

M_____________________________
will _________ will not _______ attend.
Number of persons: _______________

When ordering invitations, also order any other stationery accessories you may need. This includes:

- Reception cards, showing the time and place of the event.
- Response cards with printed reply-address envelopes, to be enclosed with the invitation so you can plan for the number of guests that will attend the reception.
- Informal thank-you notes, having the name of the bride or the bride and groom on the outside, and blank on the inside.
- Thank-you notes, with a preprinted message to acknowledge when a gift is received.
- Personalized napkins and matches for the guests to use or to keep as souvenirs.
- Announcements, to be sent to those you would have liked to attend your wedding, but who could not.
- Pew cards, rarely used, but appropriate for ultra-formal wedding situations, e.g., with celebrities and dignitaries: the cards may be enclosed with the invitation or sent after the acceptance has been received to ensure tha correct number of seats.
- Wedding programs, showing the order of the service and listing all participants. These can be folded or rolled like a scroll and tied with ribbon. Not only does a printed program serve as a guide to your wedding ceremony, but it is also a keepsake for your guests.

Programs can be engraved, printed with offset printing, or produced by word processor on a laser printer, with calligraphy added later.

The program covers may be obtained from printers who offer a variety of paper stocks, from manufacturers of wedding invitations who offer several different styles, or from religious supply houses of bookstores who carry appropriate church bulletin covers. Or they can be of your own creation, including a photograph of the bridal couple, special drawing, etc.

The program could contain the wedding date, time, and location; the names of all the participants, their positions in the wedding, and their relationship to the bride and groom;; and the order of the ceremony, with any special reading or observances. Expressions of the gratitude from the bridal couple to their families and guests, and any clarifying information regarding the wedding service or reception, could also be included.

If possible, have your programs printed only two weeks or so before the wedding, to include any last- minute changes. Allow enough time, however, for proofreading the copy, making any corrections, and receiving delivery of the finished product.

Thank-you notes do not have to be long, but they should be personal. to achieve this goal:

- Mention your spouses name.
- Mention the gift.
- Tell what you liked about the gift.
- Tell how you will use it.

- It is better to use the blank thank-you note (informals) rather than the preprinted ones.

- Thank-you notes that denote the couple as being married - Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown or Mary Sue and Robert Brown - should be reserved for use after the wedding. For notes sent before the wedding, the printing should read as in these example: Mary Sue Smith and Robert Brown, or Mary Sue and Robert, or Mary Sue Smith.

If the engagement is broken after the wedding invitations are in the mail and there is sufficient time, you may send a printed announcement of the change of plans, as in this example:

Mr. and Mrs. _____________
announce that the marriage of their daughter,
__________ to Mr. ______________,
will not take place.

When there is not enough time, you will need to phone each invited guest. It is not necessary to reveal reasons for the breakup. Any gifts must be returned to the sender.

How To Sing Like Hayley Williams

How To Sing Like Hayley WilliamsTo those that dont know her, Hayley Williams is the lead vocalist and front woman of a band called Paramore. Before she even reached 17 years of age, she already received several awards for her voice and style.

Since 2004, the teenage band steadily rose to fame and it now remains one of the most popular alternative pop rock bands with female vocals. Most of the bands appeal comes from the newness of having a female vocalist in an otherwise all-male band, fairly unique riffs, catchy melodies, and deeper and more mature lyrics than other bands their same age and genre.

But its undeniable that a huge part of Paramores success comes from their front womans mass appeal and superior vocal abilities in the high and low notes and she makes belting out huge notes seem so effortless, powerful, and precise.

Do you really want to know how to sing like Hayley Williams?

If we all had the privilege of looking at a great singer in the making backwards, we could see how they were vocally when they started out: not as polished and perfect, a little off pitch here, a little strain there, a little more average, more human, like the rest of us.

I think its very generous of Hayley to pay tribute to whom tribute is due in her vocal success: celebrity voice instructor Brett Manning, and how she gave the program an honest and open testimonial of her vocal journey.

Her popular Singing Success testimonial at YouTube may be something you wouldnt bother viewing twice, but if you look closely and read between the lines, theres gold to be gleaned from it, vocal gold that you can actually use for yourself!

Want to know how this Hayleys simple Proactive-like testimonial can help YOU? Here Goes:

When I was younger... it was really hard for me to get a lot of range without straining

To begin with, Hayley Williams didnt have a very high range. She had the potential to sing high, but was LIMITED at the start and also strained like most singers did when they tried to sing higher.

and thats when I decided...to look for someone that could help me...see what Im doing wrong.

If youve been going around in circles like her wondering why you dont seem to be improving on your own, you should seriously consider getting help from a qualified voice instructor.

I found Brett through a friend..I realized that this is who I need to be with.

There are many factors that make a voice teacher qualified, but go with your gut on how your teacher approaches your singing and observe how he or she hones your voice. Only YOU can know what is best for you. But on the whole, Singing Success seems to be getting a lot of positive feedback.

After 5 lessons I guess and I noticed a big difference already.

Its important for you to realize that in-person voice lessons at Singing Success studios arent usually scheduled daily, but paced over a period of several days to weeks while the student works what he learned in-between. Realize that even with the best singing instruction in the world, your voice will only improve in proportion to how YOU work it given the correct technique.

He changed the way I was going about singing but he didnt make me sing like somebody who I wasnt.

Voices are as diverse as the people who own them. One vital characteristic of a good voice teacher is working with what you have naturally been born with, only enhancing your strengths, correcting your wrongs, and strengthening your weaknesses. Run away from him if he tries to make you sing like someone else. However there IS a universal way on how sing properly. This is what you should learn to do.

I kinda put all my faith in Brett and from the second he said, You have no head voice. Its like all this light airy falsetto thats gonna tear you apart.

Wow, the legendary vocal powerhouse Hayley Williams started out on a light airy falsetto? You heard it, her teacher said so himself! Not only did she start low, she also started out weak. Her voice wasnt always as powerful before as it is now. Do you know what this means? If she could go from low to high and weak to strong, so can YOU!

Heres another powerful secret hidden in her testimonial: head voice. Head voice is one of the building blocks to a strong, powerful high voice. Its not the same as falsetto, but head voice in itself isnt enough to sing powerfully high. The Singing Success program shows you how to develop head voice, as well as the two other essential components needed for that killer voice.

Another important thing: faithspecifically, faith in your instructor, the instruction, and faith in your own voice that with proper training it will do what you want it do eventually.

I just did the sounds Brr gugugug whining baby cry nah-nah, no-no-no and I was like, how is this gonna help me sing?

Look at this very closely as she just name-dropped a few of the very same exercises that Brett Manning used on her to transform her voice from powerless to powerful. These are just silly syllables on a scale, but Singing Success teaches you how properly utilize these silly sounds to strengthen the vocal cords. Do you want to learn how?

Its been about 5 years since Ive taken from him and I wouldnt go to anyone else.

Hayley Williams has started taking voice lessons from Brett when she was 13. By the time this interview was taken, she was all famous already and 5 years have passed since. Those 5 years she spent with discipline on applying what she had learned with patience, persistence, and determination. Are YOU willing to work it for even half, one-third, or one-fourth the time and effort she did?

It has been said that anything worth having is hardly ever easy. After all is said and done, its really up to you to take the steps to make this dream come true.

So do you have what it takes to be the next Hayley Williams?

How to Paint a Plastic Folding Table

How to Paint a Plastic Folding TableSometimes, all you need to dcor is paint, why get brand new furniture and waste money? First of all, the painting will help it to look new, and it is also being helped when your furniture doesnt have colors. The painting makes your old furniture look good. You might have a folding table at the patio of your house or adjusted in the dining room. Does it look too old now? Has it become Rusty? If yes, then this article is just for you, on this article Ill be teaching you how to paint a folding table and apparently will be suggesting you the best materials to be used to paint a folding table.

Before you start painting the table, you need to find out which color you want your table to be painted with! You have to get the best color possible, and obviously, the color you choose must wonderfully go with the decoration of your room because when it doesnt, it looks bad. There are some colors like natural wood color or natural steel color; you can try them too if you want your plastic folding table to have the classic wooden look.

What to do Before Painting?

There are a few things which you must do before you start painting to get your job be done entirely. However, the first thing to do is cleaning the table as for when you dont clean the table the rusty look stays there even after the table is perfectly painted with the best color material. You can use a scrub and soap to brush the table and clean each and every dirt mark which makes it look bad and after you are done the cleaning, wash the table with smooth, clean water and apparently make it dry when it is wet.

You will need to buy a few stuff too before you start painting, one of the essential things to buy is a primer as before you start painting you will have to prime the table. Applying prime on the folding table will help your table to have a better finish and obviously make your job easier. The plastic must be smooth and dry before you start priming otherwise the table is not going to be primed in the finest way imaginable. On the other hand, you will need to buy spray paints to paint your folding table.

The Painting Part

After getting the decent spray paints and primers, you will have to get your furniture entirely cleaned and dried as I have mentioned before in the article. And after it is nicely cleaned and dried, take the primer and add a coat of prime, you can also add two coats of your prime, it depends on the furniture you are going to paint on actually. There are prime which are specially made of plastic too; it would be a wise decision if you go for those. Your furniture will need to at least have a satin finish to look the perfect. After that, you will have to wait until the prime gets dried and after it gets dried, you will have to spray paint it in the finest way possible. By the way, you can also find pain sprays which are highly recommended for plastic furniture. There are many excellent brands which work correctly, and the color stays with the furniture for a long time, and on the other hand, you will not have to be worried about the rust which is a huge problem.

The most important part comes after you are done painting the plastic folding table in the finest way imagined, well, the most critical part is to keep patient and wait until the spray paint which you have sprayed on your table is dried up.

You have successfully done your Job

After the paint is dried, you are done. I know it is an extremely easy stuff, but sometimes it becomes a considerable problem to paint over the plastic tables as sometimes you dont get the output as the way you want, so, I will suggest you get the best spray paints and the primer! You can visit BestreviewCraft.com to know more information about the different types of plastic folding tables.

It isnt all work and no play here - studies suggest that you need an employee engagement index of 3.9 or more to have an actively engaged workforce. Employees are an integral part of any company and play a vital role when it comes to deciding your companys success or failure.

Better employee engagement can boost business, while non-performing employees can set it right back. If you are worried about business productivity, dont - GPS tracking is just what you need. From assessing and tracking your employees progress, location and safety to stimulating and gauging their productivity, GPS tracking can help do it all.

The Top Questions to Ask to Know Whether You Need GPS tracking

GPS Tracking can save your business in many ways if used in the right way.

                       Employee Productivity Increases

GPS tracking can help to increase accountability and reduce workload. For example, employees will know the shortest routes to take and therefore reach their destination quicker.

Do You Need Real-Time Position Monitoring?

It helps to track the real-time position of your employees. They can be held accountable for things that happen in the field in their presence. This makes identifying discrepancies that may occur easier, a process that will work both ways.

                       Employee Consent

As a company, it is important to take the consent of the employees before tracking them. Ensure that you spell out the policies in the agreement. It will ensure that their right to privacy is not violated.

                       Privacy concerns with GPS Tracking

When it comes to GPS tracking, privacy concerns definitely arise. It is paramount to keep in mind your employees rights and privacy at all time.

You cannot track employees when they are on vacation or when they are out with friends in the evening.

Is GPS Tracking The Right Solution For You?

Around 54% of businesses with field tracking operations track employees in real time. Businesses, where employees have to travel a lot for work, are the ones that would benefit the most from GPS tracking.

However, other businesses do benefit too, even if their primary operations are not on field. Here is how.

Helps employers to get a better insight on vehicle tracking data.

                       Helps lower labour costs.

Helps improve customer satisfaction; you will know where your personnel is.

Have you thought about investing in a reliable employee GPS tracking system yet?

How To Decide If You Should Shave Your Head

How To Decide If You Should Shave Your HeadNow that I shave my head, I love it and I think I will keep on shaving it for a very long time. However, it took me a long time to decide to actually shave it.

The way I decided to shave my head was through a test. I took my hands and pulled the hair back at the hairline on my head, so I couldn't see any hair. This was so I could get a feel for what I would look like with a clean shaven head. Once I did that I decided that I wouldn't look too bad, so I bought a pair of clippers from Wal-mart to shorten the hair before I cleaned it up with a razor.

If you're not quite sure if you want to shave your head, you can always put a guard on the clippers and go down incrementally, so you still have some hair if you decide you don't want to shave your head. This will cut down on the time you have to wait for your hair to grow back.

You can keep on putting different guards that will allow you to cut your hair shorter and shorter. Of course this is going to take some time, but it might be worth it if you decide not to shave your head after all.

Ultimately, to be able to tell whether you like the shaved head look you are going to have to shave your head. Once you do shave your head you may like it, you may hate it or have mixed feelings about the look.

It's similar to when you grow your beard out for awhile. You get used to seeing yourself with a beard. Then once you shave your beard, you look different and are not sure if you like it because you are so used to seeing yourself with a beard. Then after a while you are used to the look of being clean shaven. The same thing applies to your head.

Not everyone is going to like your shaved head. My mother still tells me she likes me better with hair. Other people on the other hand are going to love it. Be true to yourself and decide if you like it or don't like it based on what you think and not what other people think.

As a final note, another major reason why I decided to shave my head was I wasn't doing anything with my hair. I wasn't styling it, I would just get out of the shower and let it dry.

On top of that my hair was starting to recede a little bit(I'm only 24), bummer right? Instead of fighting it and trying to use various products to try to get my hair back I decided to just get rid of all of it.

I hope this article has given you some help deciding whether or not you should shave your head. I do hope you give it a try, I think it's something every man should do at some point in his life to see if he likes it.

P.S.- I just remembered something I wanted to mention earlier. One time I cut my hair really short, using a number one guard. I did not like the look at that point in time. I thought my face was to skinny. A couple years after that I had gained some weight and my face filled out. Then I shaved my head and loved it.

If you shave your head and don't like it now don't discount it completely. Keep an open mind about it. You might end up loving the look in the future.

How Opposite-Sex Friendships Can Enrich One's Life

How Opposite-Sex Friendships Can Enrich One's LifeCan there be anything like friendship between two people of the opposite sex? Many people think that this is impossible but i think that platonic relationship between a man and a woman is very healthy. Many women confess to having spent wonderful time with their male best friends with the absence of their husbands. Their husbands think it is great and i think they are right. A good marriage is based on trust and something like friendships with an opposite-sex becomes completely inconsequential. You must agree with me that this is a new relationship phenomenon featuring in only this generation. The previous generations believed that opposite-sex friendships were a potential bombs to many marriages. Family and marriage therapists believe that the easiest opposite-sex friendships to maintain are the friendships which were established long before someone got married. Such relationships are not threatening since you had them before you were married.

Some of these friends are helpful when it comes to shoe shopping, some offer perfect shoulders to cry on and some good ones are good at both. They respect each others partners a lot. Problems come in if one spouse in marriage does not have friends from the opposite sex. If your husband has some girlfriends he will rarely have a problem with you having man friends. Dramas start when partners create new opposite-sex friendships and keeps it a secret from her/his spouse. It is a clear indication that the person feels romantically attracted to the new friend. Such behaviors greatly interferes with issues concerning trust and harbors romantic jealousy. If one partner is so outgoing and the other one is reserved. The reserved one always thinks that the other one has romantic relationships with his female friends. Such unclear speculations can lead to divorce.

Deep insecurity in a relationship leads to thriving jealousy which shoots form zero to somewhere close to paranoia. You should introduce all your friends to your partner to avoid panic attacks. Couples should establish an honest and open communication about opposite-sex friendships. They are very beneficial. John who maintains a close relationship with females some of who are married including his high school friend, Staicy. They usually meet once or twice a week with staicy who is sometimes accompanied by her husband. John says that he values the perspective provided by married women. They are more knowledgeable when it comes to relationship and are far better listeners. Their advice is always great. It is quiet unrealistic to expect one person to meet all your social needs. Your spouse cannot be everything to you. Well-managed cross-sex friendships are healthy to any marriage.

When people get married they tend to place so many expectations on marriage. They expect the relationship to fulfill all the social needs which might be impossible. People who hang out in mixed gender groups are more happy than those who only interact with people of their own gender. Opposite-sex friendships are more fulfilling. It is described as a spiritual form of love just like sisterly or brotherly love. in most cases the two friends share some interests or hobbies which are not usually shared by the spouse. It is a wonderful feeling to have a platonic relationship. However your partner should always have an open invitation.

That's why many of them are finding relationship problems in their marriage life or personal distress. Female sexual dysfunction (FSD) was often underestimated but now women are more concerned about this sexual problem and consulting doctors to get proper treatment. There are many factors that may cause sexual dysfunction in female, such as age, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, hypertension, depression and chronic medical conditions.

Female Sexual Dysfunctions(FSD)

Depending on age it has been estimated that up to 40% of women who are suffering from sexual dysfunction are having lack of sexual arousal, decreased sexual desire and decreased sexual activity including sexual complaints like vaginal dryness, pain with intercourse and difficulty or inability to achieve orgasm. It is an age-related as well as progressive problem. Several biological, medical, and psychological factors are also responsible for female sexual dysfunction. Mainly females have had removed their womb or ovaries or having low level of testosterone hormone, are found suffering from FSD.

Treatment for Female Sexual Dysfunction(FSD)

Intrinsa Testosterone patch is one of the treatments for FSD widely used. Intrinsa patches constantly release small amount of testosterone (a natural sex hormone) through the skin into the bloodstream to regain the required level of testosterone in your body. That helps to regain women's sexual desires and closeness with their partners. Balanced level of testosterone in women improves sexual desire as well as sexual thoughts and sexual arousal. Intrinsa should be used only after obtaining a prescription from doctor.

In addition, one may witness hair loss, acne, insomnia, migraine, increase in amount of hair on the upper lip or chin etc. These side effects usually go away after the use of Intrinsa has been discontinued. These side effects are a result of the increased levels of testosterone in the body.

If these side effects persist or become serious, use of these patches should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted immediately.

Here we recommend consulting your health care provider before using intrinsa testosterone patches. Because your doctor better suggest you the proper medication and ways to treat the condition.

How Did I Get a Urinary Tract Infection and How Can I Treat It

How Did I Get a Urinary Tract Infection and How Can I Treat ItUrinary tract infections are one of the most common and annoying health issues women face. In most cases, they are not going to cause you any significant harm but they are going to ruin a couple days while you experience extremely painful urination. They are the second most common type of infection in the human body that sends millions of people to their doctors every year throughout the world.

Women suffer from UTIs far more often than men do due to their shorter urethra, meaning bacteria does not have to travel far before it reaches the urinary tract and can cause an infection. Half of all woman will develop a urinary tract infection during their lifetime and a fifth of women will suffer from recurrent urinary tract infections.

While urinary tract infections may be an absolute pain for some people, this article will help you understand why you're getting them in the first place and offer a solution to treating them quickly.

What caused my urinary tract infection?
Approximately 85% of urinary tract infections are generally caused by the E.Coli bacteria. When this bacteria makes contact with the urinary tract it can cause an infection if it is not flushed away soon after contact. Intercourse or incorrect wiping are the most common ways bacteria can make it into the bladder. After intercourse make sure you urination to flush any bacteria out before they get a chance to cause harm. Other things that may increase your chance of a UTI are Menopause and birth control diaphragms.

Some people with medical conditions such as a spinal cord injury may not be able to empty their bladder properly and become more susceptible to urinary tract infections.
People with suppressed immune systems and those with blockages in the urinary tract such as kidney stones or an enlarged prostate.
Pregnant women, sexually active women and those experiencing reduced estrogen levels after menopause are at higher risk. [1]

How do I treat my Urinary Tract Infection?
Typically most doctors will prescribe antibiotics for a urinary infection because its quick and easy and will hopefully get rid of the infection. However antibiotics come with a large number of side effects such as the destruction of healthy gut bacteria which help maintain our general health and wellbeing. Overuse of antibiotics can also result in a resistance where they become less useful and sometimes stop working so it's recommended to only take antibiotics if absolutely necessary.

An upper urinary tract infection or an infection of the kidneys is an example of when antibiotics should be used. These UTI's are serious and can cause long term damage if left untreated. However for the majority of UTIs, when it is just localised to painful urination, you want to try everything else before you destroy all your good and bad bacteria with antibiotics.

Alternative urinary tract infection treatments for lower urinary tract infections include D-mannose, the active ingredient in cranberry which has been shown to inhibit the E.Coli's ability to stick to the walls of the bladder and form an infection. Aside from D-mannose which would be your best form of natural treatment, drinking plenty of water is important to help flush the infection out.

Drinking cranberry juice is often recommended for the treatment of UTIs, as studies have shown that cranberry juice can help promote a healthy flora, thus enhancing the immune system and your urinary tract. Unfortunately cranberry juice can be loaded with sugar and be an unhealthy solution.

Alternative UTI treatments you may not have heard of include D-mannose, the active ingredient in cranberry which has been shown to inhibit the E.Coli's ability to stick to the walls of the bladder and form an infection. Aside from D-mannose which would be your best form of natural treatment, drinking plenty of water is important to help flush the infection out. [2]

Hotel Security for Students on Class Trips

Hotel Security for Students on Class TripsClass trips to destinations such as Washington D.C., New York City, Orlando and other desirable cities are the perfect opportunity for young people to learn and have fun with their peers, teachers and parents. For many parents sending their children on class trips, educational travel can also create anxiety over the unknown. Educational travel companies need to take steps to minimize parents' worries by implementing measures that make them feel secure in putting their trust in others. There are methods to ensure students' safety.

I have been the owner of an educational tour company for over 25 years and I have had an opportunity to listen to parents' concerns firsthand. I am also the father of several children myself, so it's easy for me to empathize. Without proper oversight and planning, one of the main places where problems can occur on student trips is at the hotel. For this reason, Educational Travel Consultants has a standing policy and procedure to guarantee student security while staying at hotels.

I will outline several effective strategies for ensuring security on class trips while student groups are staying at hotels. If these measures are taken, there is less cause for concern.

Let's face it, there is always a possibility something may happen while student groups are on tour. This is why Educational Travel Consultants carries an insurance policy on all student trips. In addition to insurance, I feel strongly that implementing hotel security measures is another way to make certain that students are supervised at all times. Students do not need to be tempted to leave the hotel where they are staying for points unknown, in urban areas that are unfamiliar to them.

Hotel Security Measures for Student Travel Groups

1. The choice of hotel is essential for security on class trips. My company only books student groups at hotels with enclosed hallways. It is easier to monitor students' behavior and make certain they are not tempted to leave the premises in hotels with interior corridors.

2. Students need to have a curfew. An 11 p.m. curfew is standard on trips. If the group for some reason arrives at a hotel after 11 p.m. (which is rare) the curfew begins 30 minutes after arrival.

3. Though it adds an extra expense, a security guard can patrol the hotel hallways after curfew until morning. My company policy is to guarantee a guard on all student trips.

4. Security guards also tape student rooms at curfew. The teacher in charge may take disciplinary action if the tape is ripped or removed.

5. When curfew is imposed at 11 p.m. this means that students must turn televisions and music down, and be quiet. Noise and loud talking may disturb other guests and is not permitted. A teacher may request that lights go out at curfew and that no talking is permitted. In any case, if a student's inappropriate behavior warrants it, this may mean expulsion from the trip, which will also have implications once the student is returned to school and home.

6. Security guards must have clear parameters to work within. When the guard arrives for duty at 11 p.m. he or she is instructed on any last minute room switches and briefed on seeking teachers and chaperones out. Security guards are not permitted to enter student rooms for any purpose. However, they are required to keep a log of all occurrences throughout the evening. The guard will not wake group leaders for minor disruptions -- only if an emergency or problem which requires their input occurs.

If these security measures are taken on class trips, I find that problems can be eliminated before they even begin. Young people need to have clearly defined rules. Similar to the classroom, inappropriate behavior on class trips has serious consequences.

The majority of student groups I have worked with over the years have easily observed these rules and cooperated with teachers, chaperons, tour guides, and security guards. If everyone on the trip observes the guidelines set forth, then the entire group has peace of mind and a good night's sleep so that they can fully enjoy the tours and attractions on the following day.

Honeymoon Loans For Big Dreams And A Small Budgets

Honeymoon Loans For Big Dreams And A Small BudgetsHave you allays dreamed about spending your honeymoon in a paradisiacal desert island? Or maybe in the most fabulous and modern city that the world has seen?

After deciding to get married, and starting to plan the special day, it is more than logical to start thinking about the honeymoon. When and where to go are the most important questions than a couple has to answer when talking about a honeymoon. Then, there is this other issue that is how to pay for that special trip?

You can resort to your credit card, if you have limit enough to pay for the trip and not leave your card in red. If you do not have that much credit in your credit card, it would be better to reserve it for any other expenses that the trip can have such as extra meals or activities, gifts for family and friends, etc.

Other options may be to use your savings, or to resort to a honeymoon loan. Honeymoon loans are personal loans that are granted to pay for that dreamed trip.

What Are The Benefits Of Taking A Loan To Pay For The Honeymoon?

If you have spent all your savings or you would rather prefer to use those reserves for anything else, getting a loan to finance your honeymoon will be the best option, and, if you are going to get a loan why do not get a special one, meant for these kind of need.

Lenders usually offer reduced interest rates on the first year of repayment for these kinds of loans, which will be more than helpful to your monthly budget if you have also take another kind of loan to finance your wedding.

You will be able to choose from a wide range of repayment periods, which go from 5 to 20 years. Longer terms will imply higher rates, but the monthly payments will be lower. Long terms are a good idea if you need a high amount. Choosing short repayment terms, in the other hand will have lower interest but it will mean higher monthly payments

Where To Start?

First you should start deciding where would you like to go. If possible, consider a second option. Once you have decided when and where would you like to spend your honeymoon, you can visit a travel agency to get more details on your desired destiny. At this point is when it would be helpful for you to have a second option. Maybe the place you want to visit is over your financial expectations, or there may be another kind of limitation to visit that place. There are many touristic destinations that can only be visited in certain time of the year, cause of climate conditions.

After you made a decision and got an estimated cost from your travel advisor, you can start searching for a lender. Ask your friends, and relatives, visit your local bank and search on the Internet. Getting as many options as possible will help you to find the best conditions, according to your situation.

Am I Still Eligible If I Have Bad Credit?

You can still be eligible if your credit score is not as good as you would like to. Depending on the lender you choose, you may find some restrictions on borrowed amount. You may also find higher rates, but you will be able to avoid that if you apply for a secured honeymoon loan.

Luchino Visconti, one of the most important artists and intellectuals of the twentieth-century, created many theatre, opera and cinema masterpieces, and two of his memorable movies were shot in Sicily. First, in 1947, he filmed the neorealist The Earth Trembles in Aci Trezza (near Catania), a free reinterpretation of the novel I Malavoglia by Giovanni Verga. For the making of the film, Visconti resorted only to non-professional actors: the people of Aci Trezza, in front of the camera, talked in Sicilian language and showed their harsh daily existence. A milestone in cinema is The Leopard (Il Gattopardo) based on the novel by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa. The novel (which, by the way, became the top-selling novel in Italian history), chronicles the changes in Sicilian life and society during the Risorgimento. Visconti was able to create a stunning, award-winning film in 1963, with an exceptional cast: Claudia Cardinale, Alain Delon and Burt Lancaster.

Piazza della Vittoria allo Spasimo, Piazza Sant'Euno, Piazza della Marina and Palazzo Gangi, in Palermo, were part of the set. The luxurious Palazzo Gangi hosted the spectacular scene of the Ball, while Villa Boscogrande, near Palermo, was restored in record time in order to set the scenes that should have been shot in Palazzo Salina, at the time abandoned and in decay.

The great film-maker Roberto Rossellini in 1950 filmed Stromboli (or Terra di Dio), in the awe-inspiring scenery of the Aeolian Islands: the set became famous also because it marked the beginning of the lovestory between the Italian director and the beautiful and talented Hollywood star Ingrid Bergman. Considered a classic of Italian neorealism, the movie involved many inhabitants of the island. During filming, an eruption of the volcano gave some insights to Rossellini, which directed Stromboli without a real script, setting the day-to-day ideas on a simple notepad.

Lets leave behind the great Italian cinema of the past, in order to arrive to more recent years: in 1988, Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, by Giuseppe Tornatore, was shot in Palazzo Adriano (province of Palermo) and Cefal amongst other places. Also the legendary film-maker Woody Allen chose Sicily in 1995, when he decided that Taorminas Greek-Roman  theatre was the perfect location for one of the scenes of his Mighty Aphrodite. For Star Wars Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith, the iconic film-maker George Lucas used footage of the Mount Etnas 2002 eruption to help out with special effects.

One of the final scenes of Oceans 12, directed by Steven Soderbergh, starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney, was filmed at the impressive Tonnara in Scopello, one of the most important and ancient of all Sicily. Scopello, also known as Castellammare del Golfo, is a picturesque village located in a stunning position. It is just 10 km away from Trapani, one of the main Sicilian cities, and is in the nearby of Lo Zingaro Natural Reserve. It is extremely hard to resist to the beautiful seaside, the dramatic cliffs and the historic tonnara.

Do you feel inspired? Sicily is waiting for you... discover the wonderful nature and the charming cities of this Island, and your holiday will be unforgettable. Plus, you will have the chance to see the stunning locations of several international movies. What else could you ask for? The hard part for you will be to leave

Helping Dads Bond with the Babies

Helping Dads Bond with the BabiesBabies are an amazing gift to any parents. While its the mother who gives birth to the child and is often found to be sharing more closeness to the baby, its no less than an icing on the cake if the father can also succeed in harnessing the father baby bond. This eventually helps in the long run and theres absolutely nothing wrong in the father cuddling or kissing the baby in the similar fashion as the mother does. There can be various ways of improving the father baby bond some of which are listed below:

Spend Time

Yes you are working. You are often not able to make yourself free from your busy schedule. But its very important that you make some productive time for your baby wherever you can and whenever you can. The more you spend time with your baby the more are your chances of developing a better bond with the baby.

Play with your baby

One of the very productive ways of spending time with your baby is play around with him or her. Babies like glittering and attractive things. Try to bring your babes attention towards them.

Give Hugs and Kisses

There is absolutely nothing wrong in hugging or kissing your baby in a similar fashion as the mother does. The baby will soon start finding a zone of comfort and will appreciate your presence. Try being as gentle as possible. A gentle touch can reassure your baby that you are around which makes him feel safe.

Talk with your baby

Talk as much as you can. This certainly helps in bonding. Maybe telling your baby how you met his mother will do wonders. Sharing a laugh obviously will make both of you happy.
Pay attention to the way your newborn will focus on you, then shift his gaze elsewhere. The back and forth in these early eye-gazing and cooing sessions is called synchrony, and it will develop into more sophisticated social interactions as baby matures.

Help care for a sick newborn

Dads can help make baby feel better by preparing a steam treatment, doing sinus pressure massage, or applying diluted essential oils. A task as simple as making your baby take a good bath can also help you strengthen your bond with your baby.

Go for a Walk

Its good to go out for a short walk with your baby if not a long one. Its an icing on the cake especially if you are helping your baby learn the baby steps towards walking.

Dress baby

Do it mindfully, taking time to check in with her and see how she is experiencing it. Describe to her what you are doing. Enjoy the moment, rather than making it just another item to check off your to do list.

Give baby a relaxing massage

Not only will it facilitate bonding, but massage can also aid sleep and digestion, boost babys immune system, and improve circulation, among other benefits.

Share pictures of friends and family

Babies love to look at faces. You can also try to show baby a mirror. She wont know it is her in the reflection for quite awhile, but she will like that baby face.

Close your eyes and focus on your babys smell

Would you be able to pick him out of a baby line-up using only your nose? A babys sense of smell is highly developed at birth he can remember the smells he is most familiar with; namely, his parents. Apart from that let baby smell you too, not the heavy fragrances of cologne or chemical-laden deodorant.

Listen to your babys heartbeat

Find a quiet place and listen to your little ones heartbeat. After youve mentally recorded this miracle, snuggle her up close to your chest and let her listen to yours.

Help Your Company Realize The Full Value of Outsourcing

Help Your Company Realize The Full Value of OutsourcingWithout a doubt, outsourcing is very popular among businesses because of the benefits that one can gain from it. Outsourcing companies have been very active in seeking new clients as they take advantage of the situation where the benefits of outsourcing is already out there in the open. As both non-voice and voice solutions gain popularity in different key outsourcing destinations, there is a question that enters the minds of those who have been monitoring the outsourcing industry; the question being Do businesses really get to maximize their outsourcing partnership with a strategic solutions provider?

We have previously written an article entitled How to Maximize Your Outsourcing Partnership that provides tips on how a business can move past the barriers that could be encountered when engaging with an outsourcing partner. The article points out three key points: 1.) Keep it Clear, 2.) Set the Bar, and lastly 3.) Be Hands-on. We may have overlooked to include one other key point in the previous article, which is to seek the services of an outsourcing solutions provider that is trusted and preferred by many. Having a trusted outsourcing partner by your side would enable you to drive your business towards your goal without having to be troubled by the demands of your operations team.

There was study that was conducted by Accenture (NYSE:ACN) during the months of September and October in the previous year that suggests only 20 percent of the 263 buyers that was surveyed for the study is able to recognize the full value of their partnership with a business process outsourcing company. This is not an unusual case as most companies are only focused on cost reductions and are unaware of the necessary management and transition processes. In the study, 8 characteristics have been pointed out by Accenture that are common among the 20 percent who have already realized the full potential that is brought by outsourcing. Among these would be focusing on the benefits beyond cost reductions. Outsourcing could bring to your business a wide range of benefits that you can get when you partner with a solutions provider. Another is that high performers in the business process outsourcing industry have already established and adopted an approach towards management and governance processes. Although it is the objective of the partnership established between parties to get the job done, there are still key areas that need to be maintained in order for them to look forward to that contract renewal.

Outsourcing may appear to be quite simple; it is actually simple but only if you have been doing it for a long time already. There is a lot to learn about outsourcing that does not come in a manual which is why it is important for a business to first assess their needs and their potential partners. Outsourcing companies that are serious and dedicated about what they do would definitely help you along the way, allowing you to fully realize the value of outsourcing and create a sound outsourcing environment for you.
